Cloud Service Spending Up, Talks of a Yahoo/AOL Merger

Companies are investing more money into their overall IT spending and specifically to cloud services. IT spending increased 2.6% in the last year, with most of the investment going toward cloud solutions, a new survey showed.

Rumors are circulating about the possibility that Yahoo may merge with AOL. Starboard Value, which owns a small share of Yahoo, is urging the company to buy AOL.

US wholesale inventories grew 0.8% in November - the highest increase in 7 months, according to a new report out today from the Commerce Department.

US dairy producers are facing a new challenge this year: low prices and shrinking demand from foreign buyers. While in previous years, demand was high from places like China, now US dairy farms are having to look elsewhere to export goods.
