West Coast Port Activity Resumes to Near Normal Following Tentative Contract Agreement

West Coast port operators and workers reached a tentative deal Friday night regarding a 5-year contract. While work is once again picking up at the ports, a large backlog of cargo remains.

In fact, some predict it could take 2 to 6 months for the US supply chain to get back on track now that port activity has resumed to near normal levels.
