The Institute for Supply Management’s Manufacturing Index hit its highest level in June since February 2015, reaching 53.2%, up 1.9% from May. The indexes for both new orders and production in the manufacturing industry were also up in June.

The latest Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index from Markit also showed an increase in manufacturing production during June. The PMI registered 51.3 last month, up from 50.7 in May and the highest reading in three months.

The European Union said it will investigate Anheuser-Busch InBev’s practices in Belgium. The EU specifically will decide if the brewer blocked cheaper imports of its beer from neighboring countries.

A new survey of U.S. consumers shows 40% of shoppers expect to receive their first package delivered by drone in the next two years. The survey also shows consumers would rather have their package delivered by a drone if it meant they could receive it within one hour.
