Concur announced Monday that its users can now view Airbnb listings directly within Concur Travel alongside hotel listings, the company wrote on its blog. That would make Concur the first corporate travel software provider to embed Airbnb listings in its online booking tool, according to the post.

Based on Concur’s user data, the decision reflects changing traveler preferences. The number of SAP Concur customers expensing Airbnb stays increased by 42% from 2016 to 2017, including 63% of its Fortune 500 customers.

Honda Disruption

Flooding at Honda’s Celaya, Mexico, production plant has forced the Japanese car maker to suspend production there until November, Automotive Logistics reports. That spells trouble for the Honda Fit, as the Celaya plant was the only facility producing that model. The delay will create a four-and-half-month shortfall for the subcompact car.

California Wildfires

The Mendocino Complex fire, California’s biggest wildfire on record, is expected to burn for the rest of August, Reuters reports. The fire grew to span 290,692 acres (117,639 hectares) by Tuesday morning, with barely a third of it contained. Seventy-five homes have been destroyed by the blaze.

Japanese Wages

And finally, an economic update: Japanese wages rose 3.6% from a year earlier, their fastest pace of growth in more than two decades, The Wall Street Journal reports. That could help the Bank of Japan finally reach its elusive 2% inflation target, although several other factors will need to coincide for that to happen.
