This week’s latest from PSF:

Women in AR/VR: Hear speed pitches from 3 powerhouse female entrepreneurs

At a recent Emerging Tech and Innovation Showcase, Public Spend Forum and GovShop hosted three female-led AR/VR companies. These companies use technologies for child welfare, creating fantasy environments, building data visualizations and virtual learning.

The showcase is designed to lower the barriers and costs for small businesses to enter the public sector market. Each weekly showcase gives entrepreneurs from emerging companies the opportunity to deliver a technology pitch in front of a diverse audience of government buyers from the local, state and federal agencies.

You can more about the featured companies and watch their speed pitches here:

  • Friends With Holograms: AR/VR for child welfare, communication, training and more
  • Emblematic Group: AR/VR recreating actual events, fantasy environments and data visualizations
  • ServiceAlliances International Inc.: XR, VR, AR for virtual learning and training

10 emerging and diverse cybersecurity companies supplying to the government market

Public Spend Forum and GovShop regularly highlight organizations supplying to the public sector in certain industries. These firms are hand-picked from GovShop’s deep and rich database of relevant and vetted suppliers.

This week they are highlighting emerging cybersecurity vendors as the market continues to expand and more organizations face numerous threats. The need for cyber solutions is especially pronounced in the government market, where protecting critical data, infrastructure and national security assets is of the utmost importance.

GovShop continues to expand its coverage of cybersecurity technology companies so that government agencies and contractors can search rapidly and find the right solutions and providers for their needs.

Read this article for a short list of companies highlighted based on their technology and customer wins. The full list of 20,000 cybersecurity companies can be found on the GovShop cyber page.
