Jaggaer: Vendor Analysis, 2023 update (Part 1) — Procure-to-Pay solution overview, market analysis, company SWOT, competitors

This article is the first in a series of three that covers Jaggaer’s Procure-to-Pay (P2P) offering, which is a subset of its larger Jaggaer ONE platform.
As mentioned in our S2C vendor analysis (here), Jaggaer is not an old brand name, but the company is a veteran of the digital procurement space. Before being called Jaggaer, the company was known as SciQuest, which dates back to 1995. In 2017, the company changed its name and continued expanding. Jaggaer (and SciQuest before) acquired several other companies that now are part of the offering under the Jaggaer ONE banner, which launched in 2019. These acquisitions included AECSoft, Upside Software, Spend Radar, CombineNet, BravoSolution, POOL4TOOL and DocSkiff.
This three-part vendor analysis examines Jaggaer ONE’s P2P offering. Part 1 provides an overview of Jaggaer’s P2P offerings, a company-level SWOT analysis and a list of key competitors. Part 2 examines the solution's strengths and weaknesses and offers tech selection tips. Part 3 goes into more granular detail for each module and includes an analyst summary.
