When we released Spring 2025 SolutionMap rankings last week, we introduced the intake and orchestration module. The SolutionMap process is extremely thorough, as it involves a robust RFI process as well as several hours of live product demonstrations, customer references and more. For intake and orchestration vendors, roughly 100 unique elements were covered via an RFI and ensuing product demonstrations.

The result of this effort is available for Insider members, but rather than repeating information or taking a deeper dive on particular vendors, the purpose of this post is to evaluate the intake and orchestration market at a higher level. There are many different options available for organizations interested in intake and orchestration software, and the messaging for each provider is somewhat similar. Below are some key themes identified during the SolutionMap process at the market-level to help outline the maturity of this market.

For reference, the following providers participated in the inaugural intake and orchestration SolutionMap cycle: Focal Point, GEP, Opstream, ORO Labs, Pivot, ServiceNow, Tonkean, Tropic and Zip. While the insights below are largely driven from experience with these providers, we are familiar with many other intake and orchestration providers (both specialists and suites) and are pulling from this knowledge as well.
