Contributing a Guest Post to Spend Matters UK/Europe

Spend Matters is always open to receiving occasional articles from guest authors. If you wish to submit ideas for a relevant story or news item, or an outline of a potential topic for a guest post, please enter your contribution idea in the submission form below.

Our editorial team will review your submission and contact you about creating a full post.

We receive numerous and varied contributions from guest writers, and while we endeavour to retain the author’s ‘voice’ we do have some fundamental points that we would urge you to consider when framing your ideas:

  • We report on all procurement and supply chain related topics, including: technology and solution provider analysis and opinion; report reviews, conferences and webinars; industry events or announcements; breaking news alerts and related opinion; industry trends and forecasts; established and emerging players; people-related issues (e.g. skills or interview questions and responses) and general commentary on procurement including hints and tips.
  • All content ideally should be interesting for, and relevant to, a wide and senior procurement audience.
  • We adopt a tone that is representative of a B2B business. Please avoid too much jargon, passive voice, marketing speak or advertising. Articles are advisory to the procurement world, a way to promote thought leadership, they are not a vehicle for sales, however, we will include a link to you or your company website.
  • As word count is limited, we advise you to focus fairly narrowly and go into some detail rather than try to cover a huge topic thinly. We prefer between 500 and 800 words, but longer posts will be considered as a series split into parts if the subject merits.

We look forward to hearing from you.
