Strategy Supplier Risk & Compliance Supply Chain Management
In the third in a series of short papers outlining the most disruptive supply chain risks and how to avoid them, this paper looks at the risk of natural disaster and how to mitigate against the consequences to your business. This type of risk, earthquakes or weather-driven like floods, appears to be increasing as the global climate changes, and, while you may be able to predict them to some extent, you are not be able to prevent them. They can lead to many negative outcomes for customers, ranging from the slightly inconvenient to the devastating. This paper advises buyers of the sensible actions they can take.
