Microsoft and LinkedIn – Tech Giants Get Connected

You have probably heard the big news by now that Microsoft has announced its agreement to acquire LinkedIn (for $26.2 billion - its largest acquisition ever). Motivation would appear to be Microsoft's attempt to 'jump start' its own offerings by leveraging the enormous social network that is LinkedIn -- more than 105 million monthly active users. A good strategy -- but what implications does that have for procurement?
