Get your bids in – one aircraft carrier going cheap (and a few MiGs?)

We've got a bit of a military procurement week coming up on Spend Matters, so as we get into all things defence procurement related, just a reminder that you've only got a couple of days left to get your bids in for HMS Invincible, a de-commissioned aircraft carrier.

I understand that if they don't get much response from the MOD's edisposal website, they might try eBay next...

And according to the well-informed (and fascinating) Strategy Page website, apparently Hungary are the latest of various governments trying to offload MiG fighters as well, which are apparently expensive to run (poor whole life costs) and unreliable.  A nice late Christmas present for that difficult-to-buy-for teenage nephew perhaps...
