SIG dispatch: Leasing Spend — the hidden double digit (millions) category savings opportunity!

Jason Busch continues his SIG post from last week that looked at lease spend and why it’s gaining importance. In recent years, lease spending has come under the microscope because accounting rules now require publicly held companies to disclose their lease spend on their balance sheets. Private companies and government agencies will have to do the same eventually, he says. Once procurement has helped finance properly account for new financial reporting requirements, there’s an opportunity to drive lease savings as well. Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) set for growth

According to Everest Group, the IDP market is expected to grow 80% between 2018 and 2020. “We foresee tremendous growth in IDP in the near future, especially now that core IDP technologies have advanced far beyond optical character recognition,” explained Sarah Burnett, executive vice president. Everest Group has published the “Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) Playbook,” read the press release here.
