Ivalua Launches Pre-Packaged Solutions for Manufacturers

French source-to-pay firm Ivalua has announced the launch of its pre-packaged suite of solutions for manufacturers, helping them better-manage their spend management and supplier relations. The new packages span the full source-to-pay process for all spend categories including direct materials, MRO, assets and tooling and indirect goods and services. Read the full press release here.

Spend Matters sister site and metals expert publication, MetalMiner, has been quoted in the NYT this week and its data used to showcase how steel, aluminium and lumber prices have shot up, following Trump’s tariff raise, as analysts had expected, and how those prices have now fallen from those highs. NHS Supply Chain Has New Regional Distribution Centre

NHS Supply Chain, which manages the sourcing, delivery and supply of healthcare products, services and food for NHS trusts and healthcare organisations across England and Wales, has announced it will go live with a new Regional Distribution Centre (RDC) located in Bury St Edmunds and operated by NHS Supply Chain’s logistics provider, Unipart Logistics, in May 2020. This investment is part of NHS Supply Chain’s strategic objective of securing purchasing savings through increased use of the new operating model over the next five years. Independent NA-Based Jaggaer Sells Major Stake to UK PE Firm

Still privately held spend solutions provider Jaggaer announced this week that it is selling a majority stake to UK private equity firm Cinven, one of Europe’s largest PE firms with some investment already in the US. The firm will continue to focus on its unified Jaggaer ONE spend management offering and will look to expand into new markets with this major new cash injection of a reported $1.5bn. Online Directory Launched of Scotland-Based Suppliers for the Offshore Wind Market

Xodus Group is working with Scottish Enterprise and Scottish Development International (SDI) to create a directory of Scotland-based suppliers for the offshore wind market. Scotland is inviting organisations to sign up to the Scottish Renewable Energy Directory to profile their credentials to the industry and be part of the ‘who’s who’ of Scotland’s growing renewables sector. The new Scottish Industries Directories platform will include a listing and gap analysis to help local suppliers capture a greater share of the offshore wind market and it is anticipated that the website will become a one-stop shop for developers and contractors looking to procure products and services for future offshore wind projects. Icertis Scoops Up Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards 2019

Following the announcement by enterprise cloud contract management provider Icertis that it was collaborating with Microsoft to expand its blockchain framework, the firm has just announced it has  been awarded with three awards from Microsoft: MSUS Partner Award Winner for Manufacturing & Resources; Global Partner Award Runner Up for Independent Software Vendor (ISV); Global Partner Award Runner Up for Automotive. This is the second year it has been recognised as a top strategic Microsoft partner. Read more here.

2019 Digital Awards - Hackett Names Companies Leading on Digital Transformation

The Hackett Group have announced the winners and the runners-up in its annual Digital Awards, which spotlights companies leading on digital transformation.
