Procurement is Doomed – Oh No It’s Not! Join Our Pub Debate Next Week

It is only a week (next Tuesday , June 23rd) to our pub debate titled, “This (Public) House Believes that Procurement is Doomed!”

The sub-title is  "The digital revolution and other factors will make procurement functions a thing of the past by 2025."

The motion will be proposed, we're pleased to say, by Stephen Allott, lawyer, entrepreneur and the government's small business champion. Then we have Garry Mansell, MD of Trade Extensions, who will oppose, followed by my business partner Jason Busch and I going head to head as the "seconders" for and against.  That should be fun ... a lot of personal competitive edge there! And I can guarantee there will be some thought-provoking points made, as well as a bit of personal abuse ...

Old-Bank-of-England-15Come along and join us at the Old Bank of England pub in Fleet Street, just past the Royal Courts of Justice. It is a 5.30pm start, the main debate will begin 6pm on the dot, and after four short speeches (7 minutes per person) there will be time for questions and a vote on the motion before we wind up at 7pm. So we do hope you can join us – it is free, with refreshments provided, but we’d be grateful if you can register here just to help in planning the food!
