Is their life after procurement / Sony / 60?

As we all a face a longer working life, we need to consider what we might do when we retire from our jobs in procurement, finance or whatever.  James Williamson faced the same issue last year when he retired, aged 60, from his role as VP, Technology Standards for Sony.  Luckily, James, a globally respected electronics and engineering expert, had an earlier job from his pre-Sony days that he could return to.

So he did -  he's back touring as lead guitarist with Iggy Pop and the Stooges!  Here's some great now and then pictures....he played on 'Raw Power' and was key to the whole Stooges sound. And here's the Guardian  review from their London gig this week.  Wish I'd been there...did see Iggy at Brixton Academy in about 1988 though...

Anyway, back to Williamson - isn't that a great story?  So what are we going to do when we hit 60? (Do the Stooges need a bassist)?  And I think this should be a message for one CPO I can think never know!
