Jason Busch – Spend Matters guru – hits the UK…

I had the great pleasure last week to meet Jason, whose blog is read by over 358 million people every day, and for whom I have the honour of being 'European Correspondent' (I failed the interview for Music Editor).

As you can probably tell from Spend Matters, this is a guy who understands procurement - with incredible knowledge about procurement and supply chain related processes, systems and technology in particular.  And he likes English beer....

Anyway, here is his account of his trip on Spend Matters. And as he was good enough to mention my forthcoming  book (co-authored with Fiona Czerniawska of the Management Consultancies Association), I should  just explain that I haven't mentioned it here before because we don't have the publication date yet. I didn't want the embarrassment of featuring it then finding it got delayed...but no doubt it will get mentioned here again, and we hope that is should be out around late Spring.

  1. Question:

358 millon people a day? Sounds a bit fishy to me, but I’ve come to expect such false claims from bloggers.
