Jason Busch hits Florida for the SAP event

Jason Busch, my partner in crime here and editor of Spend Matters US was gallivanting last week at various conferences.  He hit the SAP Sapphire event in Florida, and he's in the throes of publishing a number of posts about the event and the latest SAP developments.

I'm not going to try and summarise everything he's said here; but can I strongly recommend that you take a look at his site if you're a SAP user - current or potential. It sounds like quite a lot is happening from a procurement perspective, and Jason has certainly come away with the view that SAP are at last putting procurement near the top of their internal priority list in terms of development and new offerings.

I'm also looking forward to learning more about their "Supplier InfoNet", which Jason says

has an order of magnitude more complexity and moving parts than just about anything remotely like it in either the spend analysis, supplier management or supplier performance management areas

He also published an interesting post here on the relationship between SAP and their 'partners' such as Bristlecone, Crossgate and Hubwoo.

Anyway, take a look at Spend Matters US, and there'll be more I'm sure in the week to come.
