Market Informed Sourcing – our next Real World Sourcing event

Our next Real World Sourcing Series briefing is on September 18th at the Jameson Room, Bentley's Restaurant, 11 Swallow Street, London W1B 4DG. The event runs from 11am till 2.30pm and is organised and sponsored by BravoSolution.

I’m leading and the topic is “The Sourcing Revolution – Market Informed Sourcing”.

This is a topic I feel very strongly about – I believe it is the most important development in sourcing since the “invention” of category management. “Revolution” is not over-stating things here. Technology is now enabling us to manage complex sourcing tasks in a manner that is very different to how we traditionally approach such challenges.

If you are involved in sourcing, or manage people who run sourcing events, I really believe you need to understand the ideas and processes here.  It won’t be a highly technical session – this is me presenting, after all – but we will look at how this is philosophically quite different to how we’ve done sourcing for many years.

And one more point to persuade you – I know firms where using these tools has driven savings of around 20%, where they honestly felt that category management over several years had delivered all the potential savings in that spend area.

So, all of this, great networking opportunities and a more than decent lunch (this is a Good Food Guide listed place), all for £49. What value for money! ! We have around 30 people booked but if you’re interested, there are a few places left  - book here now.
