Peter Smith Speaks at Basware Connect and BravoSolution Real World Sourcing Events Next Week

As Winter draws in , Peter Smith is performing twice next week and there is still time to participate in both events! OK, that might be overdoing it somewhat - going to both events we mean - but on Tuesday 24th he is leading a session at the Basware Connect conference event in London. He will be with Craig Lardner, last year's CIPS President and the two ex CPOs will be answering some of the biggest questions in procurement - the veritable meaning of life as it applies to our profession. They have promised to make it "stimulating, lively and thought-provoking", which is a bold promise!

The agenda has different streams for procurement and finance professionals, reflecting Basware's positioning across the procurement and purchase to pay spaces. There are what look like good and interesting speakers to appeal to each community, as well as the Lardner / Smith double act to look forward too! Late bookings still accepted here.

Then the following day, on Wednesday 25th, it is the final BravoSolution Real world Sourcing workshop for this year. Held at the Jugged Hare restaurant near the Barbican in London, this features Peter leading a session titled "Quick Wins for the new Procurement Leader". Whether you have just taken on a global CPO role or a new category for the first time, he will have some practical ideas about how you can make your mark quickly and successfully. Executives aren’t given long these days to make their mark and prove their value, so it is more important than ever to get off on the right foot. Get some thoughts about promising options to achieve that.

The very reasonable fee includes what we sometimes describe as an Express lunch but really it is only Express if you want it to be (and it is a very good lunch in any case!) You can be off by 2pm or hang around and network with a group of like-minded procurement folk from a wide range of organisations. We know our delegates get a lot out of that experience as well as the main part of the workshop. There are a few places left – register here!
