It's now over a year since the UK government introduced legislation that required everyone who buys on behalf of their organisation to be licensed, following a campaign by the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply.

    Jim if you don’t have the qualifications to be a Buyer why not consider becoming an MP. You would feel at home among those who have little knowledge of business and in a culture where following the rules is optional and where fundamental ethics such as conflicts of interest only applies to the little people. You could buy as much as you like and claim it all back on expenses!
