In other exciting news, BravoSolution welcomes renowned analyst Mickey North Rizza.

The End of an Analyst Era: Mickey North Rizza Leaves Gartner, Joins BravoSolution -- This is a headline I'm sure that many of BravoSolution's competitors do not want to read. According to sources in the industry, Mickey North Rizza is joining BravoSoluton in an executive role. In our view, Mickey was the last of the industry analyst greats in the procurement market. A great thinker, strategist, writer and speaker, the entire industry turns to her opinions. Moreover, those who know her know what a great person she is at the core. The Gartner/AMR client base's loss, however, is BravoSolution's -- and thereby Bravo's customers -- gain. In the coming weeks, it's our ambition to share more about what she'll be up to in the new role, including, we hope, having an active voice on Spend Matters from time to time.

Jason did some video with Coupa.

Coupa Video Series: Jason Busch on the Top Procurement Trends for 2013 -- Spend Matters' fearless leader was recently interviewed by Coupa when their customer roadshow event swung through Chicago a couple weeks ago. In about 20 minutes of taping, a video crew captured a series of four shoots, each covering a different topic. Over the next few weeks, we'll be featuring these videos, starting with Jason's predictions on the Top Procurement Trends For 2013. What does the Spend Matters crystal ball say for what is coming down the pike?

And Spend Matters represents at Forrester's event in Las Vegas.

Supplier Behavior Matters: Forrester’s Sourcing and Vendor Management Summit (Part 1) -- Later this week, I'll be giving a keynote at Forrester's Sourcing & Vendor Management Forum 2012 in Las Vegas. The key premise of my talk is that what your suppliers do (and don't do) matters. In our view, company executives must now concern themselves not just with the performance and risk of their own operations -- they must consider their supply chains as extensions of their organizations where they're accountable for supplier behavior and activity.

My favorite radio station in Seattle deems this the “Friday Song,” so enjoy!
