SpendLead – Launch Event on September 15th, Register Now!

We told you a bit about Fabrice Saporito and his new business, SpendLead here a couple of weeks back. In both a personal and Spend Matters capacity, we are helping to launch SpendLead (and you can see it here). Basically, it is a social media-type platform that has the aim of connecting buyers and sellers. “Find and be found” is a very accurate strap line for the platform.

But that is done in a way that ensures buyers get information only from the firms who are of interest to them rather than being bombarded with all the rubbish you tend to get on LinkedIn, for instance. And on the sales side, firms are communicating only with the buyers who might actually be interested in their products. We believe it therefore has some real advantages for buyers. It enables and provides;

  • focus on and information about those firms who are of real interest;
  • a slick and easy way of finding out what is going on in the markets that are of interest to buyers;
  • quick and easy communication with suppliers and potential suppliers; and
  • a route to “early market engagement” through knowledge of what the market has to offer.

If this sounds interesting, SpendLead is holding the SpendLead UK launch party on September 15th, 5.30 – 7.30pm at the Waterloo Bar and Kitchen  (131 Waterloo Rd, London SE1 8UR, near London Waterloo station, not surprisingly)! There are a few places left for Spend Matters readers if you would like to come along.

As well as some free food and drink, I’m sure this will also be a good opportunity to meet other senior and interesting procurement folk as well as hearing a bit about SpendLead (but no long speeches, I promise).  As another incentive, we will also have hard copies of our new White Paper available just for guests; “ Marketing the Procurement Function (and yourself!) How to Gain Credibility, Reputation and Influence”.

The easiest way of managing this process is if you can click through and reply using Survey Monkey here. Very much hoping to see some of you on the 15th  - but don’t delay because spaces are limited by the size of our private room.
