Survey results are in! Here are procurement’s top personalities

Nobody has done a study of "personality in procurement" before. Until now. We recently teamed up with the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) to conduct a survey based on Myers-Briggs personality types, and got over 1800 responses. Here's the description of the winning type - can you guess which Myers-Briggs letters it is?

“Practical, realistic, matter-of-fact. Decisive, quickly move to implement decisions. Organize projects and people to get things done, focus on getting results in the most efficient way possible. Take care of routine details. Have a clear set of logical standards, systematically follow them and want others to also. Forceful in implementing their plans.”

Here's the answer, along with a lot more analysis: it's a clear winner.

But back to personalities. As an ENTP, I'm apparently perfectly suited to my current job of making sure we get clients what we said we'd get them and herding the Spend Matters analysts. What are you, and how do you think it affects your job in procurement?
